The following policies are described below: Availability, Shipping, Refundable Core Deposits, Damaged or Defective Parts, and Returns.
Availability: If you need the parts right away, you should contact us FIRST and check for availability - some items could be temporally out of stock, and due to the uniqueness and scarcity of some parts, they may be unavailable in the future. If you have ANY questions about the proper parts for your car, our inventory, prices or shipping policies, CALL US - we love to speak with our customers!
Shipping: Shipping charges published on our website are for USA delivery only. Proper Parts will ship via FedEx anywhere in the USA other than Florida. Proper Parts will ship to any destination outside of USA but because of variability of shipping rates we must determine the shipping rate at the time of the order.
Refundable Core Deposits: Many classic auto parts are no longer available as new, and even the used inventory has all but disappeared. These parts would no longer exist without core returns. Proper Parts' products are listed with a Refundable Core Deposit charge. Proper Parts requires that the part that you are replacing be received by us within 30 days from receipt of your order. Upon receipt or your core, determination will be made as to whether or not the core is a good, rebuildable part. If so, you will be refunded your core deposit. If the core cannot be rebuilt, your core charge will be forfeited.
Damaged or Defective Parts: When we pack your part for shipping it is in working order. However, if you have received damaged or defective parts, contact us immediately, by phone or by email, to obtain approval for replacement. Do not return parts without our approval.
Returns: All sales are final. Parts cannot be returned unless defective or damaged or prior authorization has been given within 20 days of receipt of merchandise. A 25% re-stocking fee will be charged on all returned parts. No refunds on shipping and handling charges. All returns must be sufficiently packaged and insured, all core returns must be marked clearly with the word CORE on the top of the package. |
