Proper Parts was founded in 2006 by Alex Porti when he couldn’t find a replacement Power Seat Transmission for a 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. As a result, he engineered and built a robust Power Seat Transmission to replace the original. Since then, we've sold over a thousand seat transmissions for certain model years of Rolls-Royce and Bentley, and many models of General Motors from the late 1970s to the late 1980s: Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. We also offer the accompanying Power Seat Motor fully rebuilt.
We have many parts associated with these power seat systems including couplers, seat track glides, jack screws, screw drives and gear drives, actuators, retaining clips, square drive cables and sheaths, retaining plates, escutcheons, and switches. Our current product line also includes newly designed ECUs (electronic control units) that control power seats and mirrors in Range Rover Classic, Rolls-Royce, and Bentley.
